The trainjumpers rough hewn sound combines roots music with a soulful back beat. The band features guitarists Adrian Niles and Matt Heusel, along with percolating bassist "The Rev." Matthew Smith and the poly-rhythmic Brian "Nugget" Gorby on drums.

The band is currently busy recording its debut album, with plans for an April release. All the upcoming shows will feature the band's excellent new sets of original music, steeped in traditional blues and bluegrass, with organic harmonies and thick beats.
